What We Accomplished
The biggest news of this quarter was that we launched our brand new company web site that was built from the ground up to serve our customers better. It's easier to find product information, place orders, maintain your accounts, and communicate with us and peers via the forums. If you haven't visited our site in a while, please check it out and let us know what you think.
In this quarter, we continued enhancing the 2011.2 versions of WPF Studio and Silverlight Studio. We released new 2012.1 versions of our WinForms products that are distributed, licensed, etc. similar to our other products for consistency. The new WinForms controls version also removed dependencies on designer functionality so that they can be used in .NET client profile apps.
What’s Coming Next
The past few weeks we've been working in several areas, all geared towards the upcoming 2012.1 versions of WPF Studio and Silverlight Studio. These versions will feature a brand new product along with some exciting new SyntaxEditor enhancements. As mentioned in recent posts, our WPF controls will be moving to target .NET 4.0 or later, and our Docking/MDI integration with Prism will move to the latest Prism v4.1.
We've also put some time into working with the WinRT framework that is the basis of the upcoming Windows 8 Metro UI. Our newest control product that is in development should be ready for WinRT by Windows 8 launch day.
